Long Weekend!
Friday: helped my dad build a 12×16 shed (really a small house!) I love building stuff. We started at 8am, by four, I could hardly lift an arm, I was so tired.
Saturday: lots of mulch around the yard; replanted some hostas, tilled a 15×20 garden plot with the help of a neighbor, took the kids to Olive Garden on a gift certificate, and played cards with friends.
Sunday: taught on Ephesians 5:15-33 at church, chilled most of the afternoon: napped & worked on the Sunday crossword, had a cookout out with 1/2 of our small group… delicious and very chill. I was telling someone this morning, it’s so good to have a place to just be me, and not have to be “pastor”
Monday: went to Glasford Memorial Day parade, hung with my parents & siblings, kids jumped in the pool for the first time (too cold for me).
